Literotica isn’t as known for its chats as it is for all the dirty, filthy stories they’ve been stockpiling for decades, but it stands to reason they’d be a hub of kinky conversation. You have to figure, much of the site’s userbase is the writers themselves, which means the chat’s got to be full of brainy, well-read motherfuckers. Maybe it’s painting with too broad a brush to call them motherfuckers, though. After all, taboo is just one of the many fetishes found in their ever-growing archives of literary smut. The motherfuckers are joined by buttfuckers, chubby chasers, cucks, trannies, and all kinds of other pervs.

Yep, all are welcome at Literotica.com (with some exceptions we’ll get to soon), and that applies to Literotica Chat. It’s a free chat service built around the internet’s original library of erotica stories. While text-based chat sites are a dime a dozen, there aren’t many built around communities like this, simply because there ain’t too many communities like this. The site gets literally millions of visits every single day, so I was hoping to find a lot of my fellow sexual deviates shooting the shit, talking dirty, and maybe delving into the craft of porn story writing.

There are, of course, community guidelines, but they’re a lot more inclusive than you’ll find almost anywhere else. Literotica.com has long had a reputation for its deep, deep kink, which includes a crazy wide variety of niches and fetishes. The story library has material ranging from first-time lesbian experimentation to alien anal tentacle sex to fat girls stepping on faces and testicles with stripper boots. Some of these kinks are rare because they’re impractical to shoot on video, others because they’re literally banned on bigger platforms like Pornhub.

The first rule is the same as on any other adult site: no kids. You’ve got to be 18 to play, with no exceptions, and no underage roleplay either. You’re also prohibited from discussing illegal activities. Again, you’ll find this rule basically everywhere, just like their rule against spamming up the chatrooms. These all keep the community safe and fun.

The intro page for Literotica Chat lists just a few specific items of prohibited content, though they’re careful to mention it's not limited to just these niches. The current list of contraband includes underage activity, snuff, extreme violence, sexual abuse and bestiality. If those are what you’re into, apologies, but you’ll have to find somewhere else to converse with your fellow monsters.

It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering how long Literotica has been around, but the chat area is pretty outdated. If you’re old enough to remember IRC, you might have flashbacks. (Thankfully, I didn’t run into any annoying sex bots like I would have in the IRC days.) The very first thing you’ll see when you enter is a rapidly scrolling list of users entering and leaving the room. This is the Literotica Lobby, and it was packed when I visited on a Friday afternoon.

Any chat site is only as good as its userbase, so the first thing I look for is users. As I’d hoped, this place is fucking hopping. There were over 400 users in the lobby, their names listed along a sidebar on the right. If you want to Ignore somebody, start a private chat or view their profile, just click their name.

I consider myself a pretty tech-savvy motherfucker, and I spend all day, every day fap testing my way through the adult websites of the world. Still, I had a confusing first minute or two as I clicked around that old-timey interface, trying to figure out what to do. It wasn’t immediately clear whether there were other chatrooms, or just the Lobby and an empty room that looked like spam.

The users in the lobby are coming and going so fast that it’s hard to see the text pinned to the very top of the Lobby chat, but it includes some helpful links to some Literotica.com forum posts. One is a more exhaustive list of rules and banned content, and the other is an illustrated tutorial of just how to get around the site. Don’t feel bad if you need to look at it, because I did, too.

Today, the Taboo room was the most popular on Literotica Chat, with nearly 200 users talking about things they’re not supposed to mention to their sisters. A few more rooms at the top of the list shared similar themes, including Family Roleplay (133 users), Horny Moms (116), and Daddy’s Girls (80). Other popular topics for discussion include Younger 18+ Women For Older Men, Detailed Role-Play, Women Who Love Porn, and Humiliation And Degrading. The Consensual Non-Consent room had 44 users carefully masturbating around the rules.

Like Literotica itself, the chat rooms get into some deep fetish territory. Rooms devoted to Cuckold fantasies and Submissives, Slaves And Sluts seem downright wholesome compared to kinks like Slave Auction, Hypnosis And Mind Control, as well as Aliens, Demons, And Monsters. Obviously, a chatroom devoted to Hucows, Scat or Breast Expansion ain’t going to be as happening as one where everyone’s chatting about BBC or Busty Beauties, but it’s nice to have a place to converse with likeminded sexual deviants.

If you can’t find a Literotica chatroom where people are roleplaying your anal probe fantasies or lactating Latina fantasy, you can always start your own chatroom. There’s no moderation process or anything. Just type in the name you want and the room is created instantly. I started one called ThePornDude, hoping to find some fans, but I quickly got distracted by my own masturbatory needs and all the already established chatrooms.

I joined the Horny Moms room, which was full of over a hundred members when I visited. It’s not a family roleplay room according to the bot or mod who posted a red-texted intro message as I entered the room. It’s a very active chat, so there were a lot of Hellos and introductions mixed in with the sex talk. After lurking for a few minutes, a chick named Ali came in, said hello, and introduced herself as a horny UK mom looking for a chat. I clicked her name, started a private chat, and had to take a break from writing as I whacked off with her.

Literotica Chat is noticeably outdated on the interface, so you’ll probably think it’s ugly and flounder around a bit as you figure it out. Once you get beyond that learning curve, though, you’ll enter into a diverse world of perverted chit chat. The biggest strength here is that it’s all built on Literotica.com and the massive community they’ve built over the last couple decades, so you’ll always have a ton of other horny users to talk to about a wide range of freaky activities and fetishes.
