It’s a wild, highly unique concept in the world of smut, though maybe you could make some light comparisons to the free use genre. These guys literally just launched like a week ago, but having seen some of the company’s other work, I had high hopes from the moment I pulled up the tour page. Let me tell you all about my little visit today.
My first thought was, “Wow, this is fucking cool, but is it viable?” Porn consumers can be traditionalists, as evidenced by the million reality pornos you’ve seen with the same basic setups and sex acts. That said, I ain’t too worried about Voodooed going under any time soon. Why? Because this company has been putting out unique, high-budget hentai-influenced pornos for a few years now.
I’m sure a lot of you have seen Hentaied by now, which was the studio’s first foray into the world of live-action hentai. I was worried that first little adventure wouldn’t survive, but it thrived, and they’ve since branched out. You can read my reviews of Parasited, Futanari, and Plants Vs Cunts here at ThePornDude. Long story short, these guys are putting a ton of time, money and effort into making flicks that will appeal to the kinkiest weebs in the audience.
While I don’t see any really big names on the initial roster of Voodooed.com, they’re shooting with some truly beautiful and talented pornstars. This ain’t some fly-by-night outfit, and given the level of recognizable talent I’ve seen on some of their other sites, I have to assume we’ll see some famous faces around here soon. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the current cast blows up, because these guys have an eye for high-quality porno.
Voodooed.com offers some short preview videos, and I do mean short. They’re only about twenty seconds a pop, but hey, I’ll take that over all the paysites where the tour-page “Play” buttons all send you to the signup page. After watching some sexy ladies twitching around, diddling themselves and squirting all over the fucking place, I wanted to get inside for a closer look.
The VOD might be expensive, but regular Voodooed.com memberships are cheaper than your average porn paysite. They’re currently asking just 10 euros a month, and while they’re calling this a 50% early offer, it suggests the final price is still going to be significantly cheaper than what you normally pay for premium porn. Honestly, I expected the exact opposite. You usually have to pay more for the rare material, and this is one of the most obscure niches I’ve ever heard of.
There are some downsides, though. Since this is a brand-new site, you’ll have to contend with a brand-new collection. Some joints will stock the shelves in advance, and Voodooed did a little bit of that, but there are only 5 movies as I type this up. Run times are short for premium smut, typically clocking in around 15 minutes. I can’t tell you how often they’re going to be dropping fresh material, either; they’ve made no promises about updates, but given the elaborate production values around here, I don’t really expect the industry-standard weekly releases.
Oh, and you probably guessed this from the VOD setup, but downloads are not included with your Voodooed membership. I know this is going to be a bummer for the collectors out there, but I feel the low ticket price helps soften the blow a bit. You’ll still end up paying a lot if you want to download everything, but hey, that’s the price we sometimes pay for being really, really fucking kinky.
The 17-minute film opens with the beautiful Alice delivering a package, shot POV style. She’s got this girl-next-door cuteness, a sexy accent and an understated outfit that still shows off the goods. When the cameraman whips out a voodoo doll, Alice is quickly pulled under its spell. She gasps, shakes and starts stumbling inside. “What’s going on? I can’t control my body!”
Alice zombie walks to the couch as the cameraman thanks her for taking part in his experiment. She does her best to resist, but finds herself pulling off her top, her shoes and then her pants. The videography is the handheld work you expect from reality porn, but the setup and acting reminds me of classic DVD-era porno. It’s got a lighthearted, fun cheesiness to it, which I think is a perfect fit for the scenario and Alice’s almost-wholesome good looks.
By the five-minute mark, Alice has been Voodooed down to just her panties. “I shouldn’t have done this,” she said, the voodoo forcing her fingers between her legs. The underwear comes off, she spreads her legs, and we get some nice closeup shots as she works herself over. Having checked out all of this company’s paysites, one thing I’ve noticed is that they really love to depict fluids spraying around like geysers. Voodooed.com is no exception, and Delivery Voodoo ends with exactly the kind of delivery I’d been hoping for when I saw the thumbnail. No shit, I’d definitely download this one if that was an included perk. I will, however, be searching for more of Alice Peachy’s work after I finish typing this up. Maybe I’ll get lucky and find her on another Hentaied site.
Voodooed.com is a worthy companion piece of Hentaied, and makes me wonder what’s next for the studio. I’m not exaggerating at all when I say they’re putting out some of the most unique and impressive dirty movies out there, ramping up the production values to turn outlandish hentai fantasies into real, live-action video. The VOD is pricey here, but general admission is surprisingly cheap. Check out those short preview videos and see how they make your boner feel.
