I loaded up Lucid Flix for the first time this morning, unsure of what I’d find but intrigued by the name. Everything looks so incredible that I’m surprised I didn’t find a bigger brand name attached to LucidFlix.com somewhere. If it’s a new company, they’re clearly hiring people who’ve worked in the biz for a while. Also, the newness might be why they offer free video trailers out front. So many of the major players these days make you seek out your samples elsewhere, but Lucid Flix ain’t about to lose potential customers to the free tubes.

There’s something else to watch out for, too. The signup page also offers you a “free month” of your pick from a row of other paysites. When I got to the payment page, though, I found out I’d actually opted into a free trial that immediately rebills at $40 after two days. Honestly, I hate that more than the fake “Play” buttons you find on a lot of premium porn tours.

As a newer site, Lucid Flix does have a smaller collection than sites that have been around for years. I’m sure you expected that. They’ve currently got a couple dozen flicks to fap your way through, and given those respectable run times, they should keep you going for a while.

Membership also comes with a free bonus tube with hundreds of movies. The freebies don’t have the same cinematic style as the Lucid Flix themselves, but you get a nice variety of hardcore porn to keep you all hard and drippy. I’m going to go back and watch that Vanna Bardot movie, but I figured I’d dive into something that hadn’t already made my dick hard. That’s why I chose a sexy fantasy porno starring Molly Little called Calypso. LucidFlix calls their content “Cinemacore,” and I was already on board by the time I hit the Play button.

The 42-minute flick opens with underwater footage of crashing waves and soft vocal music before Molly appears on the screen. Framed in soft blue-green lighting like she’s still underwater, Molly looks sexy as fuck all dolled up in elf ears, flashing those gorgeous eyes at the camera. It's such a great scene that I’m reminded again that LucidFlix.com doesn’t have a Download button. Downloads are one of the biggest disappearing and reappearing perks in the world of premium porno, and I hope to see it reappear here at some point. If and when it does, I think I’m going to have to save this one for my permanent spank bank.

When I review sites with truly unique vibes, I’ll often make a comment about how it’s great but it just ain’t for everybody.
