For Play Films calls themselves Your Only Source of Holistic Pornography, a statement that immediately brings a number of questions to mind. The cynical among the audience might notice the little TM in the corner and blow it off as nothing more than a marketing slogan, but I could tell the moment I landed that this ain’t your typical smut peddling operation. Maybe they ain’t bullshitting about putting out a masturbatory product where everything feels a little more connected than your average random-hookup reality porno.

I’ll get deeper into what they mean by that “holistic” label, but for the sake of a catchy intro, I’m going to have to sum it up in simpler terms. ForPlayFilms.com is putting out dirty little movies shot through a feminist gaze. Their flicks are designed to get women all excited, but speaking as a straight dude, I was pretty happy about what I found, too. The whole vibe is different than your average paysite, so without any further ado, let’s talk about why that is.

You do get a montage once you click that Enter button and confirm that you’re a grownup, but again, it’s a totally different vibe than Brazzers, Reality Kings or my own PornDudeCasting. There’s some hardcore action in there, but it’s all wrapped in a slick and sensual package. Certain visual elements remind me of the arty farty “erotica” you find on certain sites, but with couples fucking instead of the solo shows I expect from those platforms.

Most porn site About pages are throwaways, but ForPlay Films has a more interesting setup and a lot more to say than your average cookie-cutter reality porn site. For one thing, it’s an all-woman production company making feminist erotic films aimed mainly at women. That ain’t the only defining point of the product, though. They’re also focusing on ethically produced pornos starring real couples, a theme that I can always get behind.

As for that “holistic pornography” thing, ForPlayFilms.com defines it as “a unique service wherein the films cater to the whole person (including mental and social factors) to create an experience of pleasure and healing.” It’s a very sex-positive approach, and a bit more thought-out than the usual paysite mission statement of, “We figured this would get you hard and maybe even make you jizz your pants, you dirty pervert.”

So many paysites these days make you seek out your free samples elsewhere, but ForPlayFilms has plenty of free trailers out front. They offer a fantastic peek of that unique, sexy vibe they’re hawking. There’s a lot of stylized cinematography here, and while I might see fewer close-up crotch shots than some of the other joints, the action is still hardcore enough to keep me hard and drippy. It wasn’t long before I had to make my way deeper inside.

There are a couple little catches here. For one thing, they call it an “All Access” membership, but it doesn’t include downloads. I’m writing this review in 2024, and unfortunately, it looks like the streaming-only trend has been coming back lately. Of course, given the low price here, I’m not really complaining.

The other little catch is that ForPlay Films only releases one new movie per month. I prefer to see at least one new fuck flick per week on any paysite, but again, most sites cost three times as much. Speaking as a smut peddler myself, these movies look like they take a little more time, effort and money to produce, so yeah, I’m cool with waiting 30 days between drops.

There are currently more than 50 ForPlay Films in the catalog. Runtimes are solid, with recent pictures typically clocking in between 30 and 50 minutes. Some of the older movies were shorter, but the site doesn’t suffer from the abysmal durations of some of those “erotica” sites I mentioned. The production might be updraded, but these are still pornos.

Given the setup, I was mostly expected to see unknown talent getting intimate on the screen. Turns out, they’re shooting with a mix of established pornstars, eager amateurs and real couples. They’ve actually worked with a bunch of the women I’ve gotten to know on the PornDudeCasting couch, like Apryl Rein, Rory Knox, Nicole Kitt, Megan Mistakes, and Ana Foxxx, just to name a handful.

So where was your friendly neighborhood Porn Dude supposed to start his official fap test? On an atypical porn site, I like to choose an atypical video, but that’s pretty much everything in the ForPlay Films library. I’ve never made my love of big girls a secret, though, which is why my horny eyes landed on a pair of well-endowed babes in a little something called Luscious. ForPlayFilms doesn’t use the BBW tag for some reason, which means chubby chasers ain’t going to find the video with their usual search strings. You’ve always got to think keywords, my friends!

The 45-minute film opens with a ForPlay Films intro before we see one of our costars putting on lingerie to some soft piano music. The framing is beautiful and the picture crisp, showcasing all of our heroine’s curves in what looks like a plush Victorian mansion. It’s a slow buildup which segues perfectly into the sensual encounter that begins about five minutes in.

You don’t see eskimo kisses in pornos too often, but I’m telling you, they really enhance that romantic vibe. The nose nuzzles turn into lip smacks and full-on making out, which eventually leads to cunnilingus. There’s no rushing in the scene, no sense of urgency, just two beautiful women enjoying each other’s company. The soundtrack is so loud I didn’t think the girls were even in the mix at first, but you’ll hear a little moaning and some very light dialog along the way.

It’s a fantastic scene and I would have loved to download a copy for the permanent spank bank, but alas. I guess I’ll just have to keep the membership going indefinitely, but hey, at ten bucks a month, it’s not exactly going to break the bank. My cheap porn memberships don’t usually look this good, my dudes.

At the end of the day, I’d recommend ForPlayFilms.com for a few different demographics of masturbators. They say they’re mainly aiming their films at women, and yeah, I can definitely see that. It’s also worth a look if you like seeing real couples getting it on, if you like dirty movies with a high level of sensuality, or you like to watch pornos produced more like “real” movies. Their commitment to feminist fuck flicks, ethical smut and holistic pornography holds the door wide for even more fans, and they can count yours truly among them.
