After exchanging a handful of messages, my trial ran out and it was time to sign up anyway.

The fake voices are decent, though the technology doesn’t seem to be evolving quite as rapidly as the imagery. LustGF has a smaller selection of voices to choose from, which may be one of the reasons they sound better than the voices on earlier platforms. They still sound a little robotic, but they’re not the monotone nightmares you hear on TikTok.

If you want to build a super complex character with a complicated backstory and fetishes, you may be better off with one of the hentai chat sites with the prompt-based generators.
