As I have pointed out in my previous review of Literotica, I think that overall, this is a great website to access incredible, amateur-made amorous stories. Having revisited this website, now with an emphasis on the specific genres of written porn, I think I like this website even more than when I first reviewed it. And since it has become a minor obsession of mine, I will go through all of the steamy stories of a taboo nature.

If you check the short story part of Literotica, there are other taboo-Esque tales such as Mind Control, Taboo, and other especially spicy publications. I'm not entirely sure, but if you include all of those uploads, there are likely thousands more stories in this shamelessly creative and controversial genre.

While this sort of smut is not my focus on this site (if you are interested in it, though check out ThePornDude Gay sister site), there's a decent amount of taboo gay smut as well. Unfortunately, it's located in the Gay section, so it can be harder to find. But if you click on the right tags like 'grandfather,' 'taboo,' and related keywords, you should find what you are searching for relatively easily.

Regarding quality, as is typically the case with other amateur-friendly platforms, there's no guarantee for perfect quality control. But the authors tend to do a decent, if not an excellent, job at prose construction and editing. Also, there's a translation widget installed into Literotica that converts text into the major European languages (Spanish, English, French, German, and Italian) as well as Dutch, Romanian, and Portuguese.

Well, to give you some specifics, there are parts of the main taboo web page that promote the top authors in this genre, stories that have won Literotica contests, random related stories, and stories that have the most comments in the current week. Speaking of comments, the community on this site is generally very active, especially in this genre. So if you like these sorts of stories – certainly if you are a writer – you will find yourself in good company.

Also, I will add that the forum will be a decent resource for you. Several sections on that part of Literotica focus on taboo subjects or related forms of sexuality like BDSM and fetish topics. Moreover, dozens of users frequent the Fetish & Sexuality Central threads. Also, if you are looking for inspiration to make your next crazy short story appeal to other users, you should look up the two forum sections that ask users to submit story ideas.

I won't go too deep into it, so I'll instead sum up the posts there as follows: the horny fuckers on Literotica are thirsty as hell and have some fascinating (and only a little fucked up) sex scenarios that they would like to see fleshed out. So if you want to make friends and get popular on this platform, you should take note.

While the design of this site is a little bland and has not been altered in many years, it still looks clean and runs super slick across devices no matter which browser you use. Also, while there are some, the commercial banners and other advertising media tend to be at the bottom of the page and are not intrusive or annoying. Furthermore, there is still no issue regarding popups or any other related bullshit.

And that only counts the registered users on Literotica. Since there are indeed a bunch of lurkers who peruse this site and people who post links to other platforms, you could reach a lot of people with your work. There's not going to be a guarantee of getting recognition, of course, but you do have a decent shot of getting throngs of slobbering fans if you've got the chops and are dedicated to cranking out quality content.

Since there's so much content that has been hosted over the years, not to mention all of the creative types that have been plugging away, you will have to push yourself.

I would even go so far as to say that if you know how to leverage this platform by supplementing your published material by advertising and sharing on social media, you could be the next big amateur erotica soon-to-be writer. Hell, considering that Fifty Shades of Grey started as shitty Twilight fanfiction that was posted online, your work might lead to professional book deals. If E. L. James can get a book deal for her trash novels, surely you can create well-crafted, highly risque erotica.

However, I believe that the Law of Averages is very real. Plus, given how many writers have contributed to the taboo section, there are sure to be other forbidden sex fantasies, and you could turn people onto this sort of written erotica. Unlike other fetishes, I don't consider this a long shot at all, given that, in my experience, (nearly) everyone enjoys a crazy raunchy story, real or fictitious.

If you are considering doing that, then as always, read the rules so that you don't get booted. The good thing is that the rules are pretty lax, and so long as you don't discuss illegal shit, you should be fine. As with every aspect of Literotica, this feature is entirely free.
